This year saw an exceptional show

It's now official, knitting is on the up!

With thousands of people visiting the show this year, coming to see all the new and exciting yarns from the likes of Creative Yarns, Lana Grossa, Grundl and Wendy, just to name a few, sales soared.

We at RKMWOOLS started the event on the Wednesday, travelling down from head office with what seemed like tonnes of yarn, arriving, setting up three areas (pics below) getting ready for an early start to the show on the Thursday morning.

And after four days, we had sore feet, achy throats, and very tired eyes (mind you that could have been the wine!) but most importantly, hardly any stock left, which meant that everyone wanted what we had…….Brilliant!

The new yarn from Creative Yarns seemed to fly out the door – Rainbow Glitz with its six shades and ten patterns were obviously a winner for many of you, Lana Grossa caught many of your eyes with its fantastic yarns and its brilliant designs, for knitting or felting, Grundl’s sock yarns and Pom Pom seemed to be a winner and the Wendy viva and Pampas well they was just a brilliant addition to the whole show.

This year also saw a rise in the sales of chunky, especialy James c Bretts Marble chunky, whatch out james, theres a big order coming your way!

Many Many different yarns from different suppliers prooved to be big hits this year, and below you will see just a few lines on our event area, just in case you need reminding!!!
